Construction of the Temple of Esna started during the reign of King Tuthmosis III and was completed some time between 40 and 250 A.D. If you have time on your way to Asan, a visit to the temple is definitely a great addition to your transfer. The inscriptions and carvings on the walls are quite beautiful. The 24 pillars beautifully decorated with lotus flowers and palms are a fabulous sight to see. Add this as an optional extra to your transfer and spend up to 90 minutes exploring the beautiful Temple of Esna.

Edfu Temple (Temple of Horus)
Edfu Temple is one of the best-preserved ancient monuments in Egypt. It was built between 237 and 57 BC and the sand that eventually filled it helped preserve it. This stunning temple has an intact roof which helps to create an amazing atmosphere inside the temple.
