One question we often get asked is ‘how far is Sahl Hasheesh from Hurghada?’. This resort town is approximately 25km from Hurghada airport. Plus, transfer time from Hurghada airport to Sahl Hasheesh is about 35 minutes. In addition, Sahl Hasheesh is approximately 32km from downtown Hurghada. Sahl Hasheesh enjoys hot and sunny weather for most of the year. Like most of Egypt, it really just has two seasons. These seasons are simply summer and winter. With spring and autumn coming and going quickly. Often in a few days!
Summer in Sahl Hasheesh is usually May to September. However, the summer temperatures are frequently experienced in April too. Summer temperatures in Sahl Hasheesh are hot and hotter! With daytime temperatures often reaching well above 40°C (104°F).

There is plenty to do in Sahl Hasheesh at night. With Old Town Sahl Hasheesh being the place to be at night! At the start of the old town is the arrivals Plaza. This beautiful structure is open to the public and is often the location for celebrations and events.
Old Town Road, stretches along the coastline. It is a great location for an evening stroll. You can also shop in the local boutiques, or relax at one of the cafes and simply admire the view.
Where to eat at night in Sahl Hasheesh
The Bus Stop is a popular location for tasty comfort food! Plus, the great news is that they always have organic, vegan and vegetarian options available. In addition, The Bus Stop is a lively sports bar and lounge.
In addition, Bella Vista restaurant and lounge is a popular location to eat at night. Located inside Baron Palace Hotel, Bella Vista is open from 19.00 – 23.00. Here you will find great handmade pizzas on the menu. Plus amazing Italian starters.
However, if Indian food is on your wish list, Zaafran maybe the restaurant for you. Located inside the Oberoi Beach Resort, Zaafran is open for dinner from 19.30 – 22.30. Plus they will cater for all food preferences.

Located along the coast are a number of beach clubs. These include Sailors Beach Club (Il Gusto Beach) and Bus Stop Beach.
