This is especially important away from the tourist hotspots. Mosques welcome visitor with open arms. However, do remember that ladies must have their head and upper arms covered. Is Tipping Required?
Just like in any country, tipping is about recognising great service. However, some restaurants do automatically add a service charge to their bills. This will be easy to spot on your bill. Tipping in hotels can be a little more complicated. Plus it may start to feel like you need to tip everyone! Don’t get overwhelmed. Simply remember the principle that you tip for good service. What Do I Need To Know About Shopping?
When shopping in local markets or bazaars, remember that bargaining is a common practice, so be prepared to haggle for the best deals. However, haggling only applies to local markets. It is extremely disrespectful to bargain for a reduced price for a service provided for you. It is also inportant to remember that the Egyptian pound has devalued significantly over the last year. This means that paying for goods and services in a foreign currency is significanly cheaper than last year. As with shopping in any country, keep an eye on your belongings. This is especially important in crowded areas. However, this is no different that most countries!
How Many Terminals Does Hurghada Airport Have?
Hurghada airport has two terminals, Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. The main terminal at Hurghada airport is Terminal 1. Terminal 1 is often referred to as ‘the new terminal’. However, it is important to know that both terminals serve international flights. Also, it is again important to know, there are no flight information boards outside the terminals. Additionally, there is no shuttle service between the two terminals. However, it is possible to walk between the domestic and international terminals located at Terminal 2.
