The National Museum of Egyptian Civilization is the new home of the ancient Egyptian mummies. It is the first museum in the Arab world to focus on the Egyptian civilization throughout history. Helpfully the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization has been divided into sections. This definitely helps the museum to showcase everything that it has to offer.

Located in Old Cairo, the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization is definitely worth visiting. Plus it is so easy to visit independently if you are staying in Cairo. Entry tickets can be purchased on site on the day. In addition, you can buy tickets online for the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization. However, the musuem is not yet included in the Cairo pass programme. Importantly, the museum is open every day, with last entry at 16.00.
